First stop is in Broward on Saturday, October 26th at 4pm - we’re meeting up with our friends at @themckenzieprojectinc ❤️ Lyft rides provided for folks if you reach out in advance! Join us right after for the grand opening of @thejoyandliberationcenter in Margate at 6pm!
Next stop is in Miami on Saturday, November 2nd at 2pm in Little Haiti. We’ll have some special stickers for you and a few other surprises! Lyft rides are available for this day as well, just let us know in advance.
Early voting is open now through November 3rd, every day from 7am-7pm. During early voting, you can vote anywhere within your county! Take advantage of these special meetups to vote in community 💕

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It’s crucial to recognize the unique ways abuse can affect the trans community. 🏳️‍⚧️ Trans-specific power and control tactics often exploit identity, stereotypes, and community attitudes to inflict harm. Examples include:

-Ridiculing someone’s body or identity 🏳️‍⚧️

-Misusing pronouns or offensive language

-Restricting access to finances, hormones, or medical care

-Threatening to “out” the victim or take away their children
